“People that have seen our shows, they get it,” explains Brandon Clark lead singer for Tulsa’s #ShredDirt rockers, BC & The Big Rig. “We love our three studio records, but they’re real polished and clean. This live record is ‘us.’ It’s raw and unedited. We didn’t do a whole lot of editing on it other than just mixing it down because we wanted people to really catch the live experience.”
According to Clark, Tour de Dive Bar is a 26-song collection of “rock your ass off” tunes recorded over four shows at three different locations in three states: two nights in Red River, NM at Bull O’ the Woods Saloon and one night each at Bucks Bar & Grill in Venice, Nebraska and Katt’s Cove in OKC. Clark says, “We picked three of our favorite places we play. We’ve been to these places a lot; two or three times a year for the past four to five years. Really good people.”
Songs from the band’s three studio albums, Day Late and a Dollar Short, Do You Remember How to Rock and Roll?, and Turn and Burn are well-represented. Some choice covers and three previously unreleased songs from the band are showcased as well.
